Poor Kristen Stewart. It almost seemed too shocking to be true but the simple fact is, Kristen has been publicly caught red-handed cheating on her boyfriend, Robert Pattinson. The Twi-hards are in mourning and feel it is the end of the world, for what is the point of living without Edward and Bella united as one? Everyone, myself included, have come together in wondrous confusion as to what has happened to what was the love story of Hollywood and sci-fi dreams. One question, What the FUCK were you thinking Kristen?
On a more serious note, what is to become of the stereotypical little ol' wife who has been walked over and betrayed by her husband? For Kristen didn't just hook up with a random, single guy, no, it was a married father of two who was her director for Snow White and the Huntsman, Rupert Sanders. Many feel the wife, Liberty Ross, will stand by her man. As history has shown us, married women would rather forgive an affair than risk loosing the family status they have created, and by fuck if Liberty would just step aside and let a young woman who's half her age come along and charm her way into that family unit. I doubt it would of happened that way and anyway, both adulterous parties have now come forward with very public statements of apology to their respective halves for a "momentary indiscretion";

As you can imagine, the media have been in a frenzy over this scandal, with Kristen even being dubbed the "new home-wrecker of Hollywood", who has "dethroned Angelina Jolie as the fame world's most notorious cheat." Some may say that its typical for majority blame to be put on the woman, even though we know it takes two to tango, so why should Rupert get off lightly? I feel as though he will cowardly hide away and let Kristen take the full abuse for what has happened, which is rather pathetic. A real man would own up to what he did and, as much as it would annoy some, wouldn't let a twenty-two year old girl become the new tabloids whipping figure of hate. Would it be fair to say she was rather naive in all of this, do we think that perhaps this successful, British charming director somehow gave her some much needed lustful attention? Let's be honest, it can't be easy to be Robert Pattinsons' girlfriend, especially when the celeb world have constantly made you out to be the "plain jane" of the relationship. "What's a beautiful man like him doing with an average, boring looking girl like her?", is an example of the types of the phrases I've come about when reading about their love story. He is one of the most lusted after men in the world, she is not. It's a sad fact that we live in such a superficial world, a world which could of been the reason behind this seemingly stupid act of Kristens'. Was it all down to her insecurity? Did she want to still know if she was seen as attractive to other men?
This story isn't going to die down any time soon, with almost hourly updates on online news sites feeding us the latest developments, we will be hearing about this adulterous scandal for a while yet. Of course we don't know how much of what we are being told is true, with so many "sources" coming out to give us random updates, at times conflicting ones, means we will just have to wait and see how this all ends. Personally, I don't think they will survive this, and it is sad but perhaps the actual truth is that Kristen wanted out of the relationship. Maybe she felt too young to settle down and wanting to live her life a bit, however, by ruining her relationship in this way is an act of selfish self-sabotage. There are innocent parties in all of this, including Robert, Liberty and her children. How are those children going to feel when they grow up a bit and have actual photographic proof of their fathers cheating online for the world to see? I wouldn't want to be in their shoes that's for sure.
